There have been many different opinions about meat and your health. While meat is not necessarily unhealthy, you should definitely stop eating processed meats... The problem is that nitrite is not all creative equally, and when you fry of grill processed meat, that nitrite can turn into N-nitroso compounds which are cancer-causing substances. While there is no proof that processed meat causes chronic diseases, the connection between processed meat and chronic diseases is supported in studies in animals, including rats. So, processed meats contain many harmful chemicals that can negatively affect your body.
